Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing on your upcoming climb.

Day 2: Rongai Gate to Simba Camp

After breakfast, drive to the Rongai Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest, passing through farmland and pine forests before reaching Simba Camp. The trail is gentle and offers a beautiful introduction to the climb.

Day 3: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp

Continue your ascent through the moorland zone, enjoying panoramic views of the Kenyan plains. The trail gradually becomes steeper as you approach Kikelewa Camp, located in a sheltered valley.

Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Kibo Hut

Traverse the lunar desert of the “Saddle” between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Arrive at Kibo Hut, the base camp for your summit attempt. Prepare for the final ascent with an early dinner and rest.

Day 6: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

Begin your summit attempt around midnight, trekking through the darkness to reach Gilman’s Point at sunrise. Continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement, descend to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.

Day 7: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate
