Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing on your upcoming climb

Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

After breakfast, drive to Machame Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest to Machame Camp. The trail is a steady ascent and offers a beautiful introduction to the climb.

Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Continue your ascent through the forest and onto the Shira Plateau. The landscape changes to moorland, providing stunning views of the mountain and its surroundings. Overnight at Shira Camp.

Day 4: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower

Trek towards the Lava Tower, a volcanic rock formation at 4,600 meters, for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This day helps your body adjust to the high altitude, crucial for summit success.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

Climb the Barranco Wall and enjoy the view of the Heim Glacier. Trek through the Karanga Valley and continue to Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit attempt. Prepare for the final ascent with an early dinner and rest.

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp

Begin your summit attempt around midnight, trekking through the darkness to reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise. After celebrating at the summit, descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest. This is the most physically and mentally challenging day of the trek.
